A rather spectacular plant, the spatifillum is a member of the Aroideae family. This genus includes about 45 species. In nature, this plant can be found in the tropical forests of Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela, as well as on the Philippine island.

Their leaf plates grow from the root and can be oval or lanceolate. In spring flowering begins, and the inflorescence appears on the shrub, which is a cob covered by a veil. When the bush is finished blooming, trim the flower stems as low as possible.

This plant is very popular with florists, because during the cultivation in room conditions it is undemanding in care. It also has decorative leaf plates, which also influenced its high popularity.
